Our main ethos at Mini-Me Childcare is to give awareness to all the children about the world we live in, including a lot of Multi-Cultural themes and an emphasis on environmental issues. We feel at Mini-Me that if children learn, at a young age, to respect our environment and to respect each other, that this will give them a good foundation for their own future.
Every month we pick a World topic. Our main display wall is covered with a map of the world, which we use for a variety of activities, examples are:
"Children of the World"
"Food of the World"
"Animals of the World"
"Houses of the World" and many more.
Each theme will be supported with arts and crafts, academic worksheets, multi-cultural games, stories and songs.
